The editors invite submissions of fiction, short plays, poetry, photo essays, and literary nonfiction in traditional and experimental styles:

FICTION: Short stories, flash fiction, short novellas and novel excerpts in traditional and experimental styles (generally not exceeding 90 pages/24,000 words).

POETRY: Poems in traditional and experimental styles but no light verse (up to 6 poems).

DRAMA: Short plays in traditional and experimental styles (generally not exceeding 50 pages).

NONFICTION: Literary nonfiction in traditional and experimental styles (generally not exceeding 90 pages/24,000 words).

PHOTO ESSAYS: Query us before submitting.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. At this time we only review manuscripts submitted via Submittable. Please do not mail us hard copy submissions.

2. Although we try to reply within 4 to 12 weeks, sometimes the review process takes longer. If you do not hear from us after 12 weeks, please do not hesitate to query us about the status of your manuscript.
