The editors invite submissions through SUBMITTABLE of unpublished fiction, short plays, poetry, photo essays, and literary nonfiction in traditional and experimental styles:

FICTION: Short stories, flash fiction, short novellas and novel excerpts in traditional and experimental styles (generally not exceeding 90 pages/24,000 words).

POETRY: Poems in traditional and experimental styles but no light verse (up to 6 poems).

DRAMA: Short plays in traditional and experimental styles (generally not exceeding 50 pages).

NONFICTION: Literary nonfiction in traditional and experimental styles (generally not exceeding 90 pages/24,000 words).

PHOTO ESSAYS: Query us before submitting.

All manuscripts must be typed and include the following contact information in your cover letter and/or with your manuscript: mailing address, phone number, and email address. All electronic submissions are through SUBMITTABLE.

Although we try to reply within 4 to 12 weeks, sometimes the review process takes longer. If you do not hear from us after 12 weeks, please do not hesitate to query us about the status of your manuscript.
